Privacy notice

Top of the Pack is a service of Ashecorp, LLC, doing business as Top of the Pack, 4000 Faber Place Dr Ste 300, Charleston SC 29405-8587, run by Charles Ashe. This notice covers this website and the email you send us from it. If you become a client, the client privacy notice in your agreement also applies.
This website. The site has no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and images are served from this site. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., delivers the pages and keeps standard request logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to run and secure the service. Vercel states that it collects visitor IP addresses and derives city and country from them. We do not use those logs to identify visitors. On our hosting plan, Vercel makes those request logs available to us for one day; Vercel does not publish how long it keeps visitor data itself. We do not export or copy the logs anywhere else.
Email you send us. The email links on this site open a draft in your own email app. Nothing reaches us until you press Send. Email arrives at charles@topofthepack.com, a Google Workspace mailbox that Charles alone reads. We use what you send to reply, to review your request and to arrange any work you ask for. Please leave out passwords and information about your customers. An inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing, and we do not sell contact details.
How long we keep it. We delete inquiry email 90 days after our last contact unless it becomes client work, which then follows your agreement and the client privacy notice. Under Google's standard settings, deleted email can be recovered for up to 55 days, then Google removes it permanently.
Your requests. Ask Charles to correct or delete your information at charles@topofthepack.com. He will acknowledge the request within 10 business days and explain anything he needs to keep and why.
Other sites. A link to Backbrief or another website opens a service with its own privacy notice. We will update this notice and its date if our practices change.
